November Recap - Projects and More

November was "project" month.  First, Jace had a turkey disguise project.
He chose to disguise it as BB-8.  :)

If you don't know who BB-8 is, you can read what he wrote...

The unheated pool is too cold for swimming, but my two goofballs
will still don their wetsuits and swim on occasion.

Jace also celebrated his 50th day of Kindergarten with 50s day at school.
Here he is with his teacher (also one of my besties).
Rylee also had her as a teacher (for half a year since Rylee
started Kindergarten in MN with Mrs. Stangel).

The had a sock hop, did some hula hooping, and drank floats.
With "girlfriend" Zoee...  So cute!

With Thanksgiving approaching, Jace's class also made Native American headdresses.
His says Brave Dog.

Rylee had a playdate with her two besties, Emily (middle) and Maddan.

Jace tagged along.  :)

Rylee's project was a heritage project.  Based on our best calculations, Rylee is a mutt!  We think she is more Norwegian than anything else, but because of my Grandma Elsie, we identify most with our Swedish heritage.  After discussions with Gaga, and phone calls with my Uncle Jack and Uncle Howard, we had some nice details about how Kjel and Anna Nickander immigrated from Sweden to Minnesota.

Rylee wore her hair in braids for her presentation.  :)

A close up...
Gaga helped with both projects, but especially this one.
Don't you love how Sweden's national costume turned out?!

I love these projects so much and I'm so proud of how much work both kids put into them.  :)
