Happy Birthday Jace!

Happy 3rd Birthday from all of us!

Yo ho ho!

The kids all had fun on the redneck water slides.  We had the little one set up too (you'll see it in the next picture). 

Jace decided to give the big one a try - his first ever solo trip...

I had considered making a cool ship cake, but I got four new students this week and it just didn't happen.  Jace is more of a cupcake man anyway!  :)

I've always heard that pirates have yucky teeth.  I guess this confirms it! :)

Jace and the Neverland Pirates

I can't believe my baby boy is turning 3 on Monday!  Or should I say "free!"  :)

I decided to lift my ban on house parties and allow a very small pool party (Jace has recently become addicted to swimming).  The first thing he said to me this morning was "it's my birthday party!" Then he proceeded to sing "Happy Birthday" to himself over breakfast.  To say he was excited would be an understatement.

My little buccaneer picked "Jake & the Neverland Pirates" as his birthday party theme.  Argh!

Easter Day

After breakfast, the kids played outside with their new sidewalk paint.  You can see a couple of Js and an E that Jace painted by his feet. He's such a love.  I wish I had time to tell some Jace stories!

Then the kids put on their new swim suits...

(and new coverup for Rylee)...

...so we could head up to the Froyd's house for a fun-filled day of swimming and playing and eating.  It was a wonderful Easter!

Easter Morning

We had a repeat of Christmas morning in that Rylee got up at 4:40 am to hunt for Easter eggs.  Of course we sent her back to bed, only to be reawakened at 5:20, 6:40 and finally 7:00.  She was one eggcited girl!  :)

The bunny brought Legos so the kids had fun putting together their new sets.

But the big hit in the basket was the special chocolate bunnies (a first for my kiddos).

Pre-Easter

We dyed eggs at Venessa's house.  Rylee was the only kid that really got into it.  Madison and Jace mostly played.  :)

Later that day, Rylee had a birthday party where she got mermaid-ified.

Spring Break

I've been meaning to blog since Spring Break... hmmm... was that last month?  We had a lovely week off.  We had some fun playdates, a birthday party, but mostly we swam.  Rylee's wish was to swim in the pool every day of Spring Break - she made it 9 of the 10 days if I remember correctly!
