I finally broke down and took her to see a pediatrician today. They gave her a stomach X-ray and found that she was really backed up. So despite the numerous poops, she was in a sense really constipated. They weren't sure why, it's possibly just "toddler tummy" since Rylee, like many other toddlers, doesn't always eat the most balanced diet.
They prescribed a "cleanse" similar to what adults have to do before a colonoscopy. She didn't do that well on it today. She pretty much refused to drink the laxative powder. We tried mixing it with Gatorade, apple juice, chocolate milk, water, and (out of desperation) ice cream. She drank a little in some flat root beer. Any other suggestions as we have to try again tomorrow?
She still had one big poop just from the duculax pill. I couldn't help snapping this pic of her afterwards. Apparently even she couldn't stand the smell of it. :)

Poor thing. Maybe the travel and change of environment, etc, threw her off?
Maybe a cup of coffee will righ her; always helps keep me regular ;)
Yeah, if not regular coffee, then iced coffee. Miller really likes that!
Funny how you all laugh at my irregular bowel movements but in my experience between backed up and running loosely, I would recommend something greasy like bacon, some milk since that is one thing you know will get her moving, and a ton of grapes (fiber). Seriously though, a good 20 minutes of computer time usually does it best.
Hopefully things start moving and she feels better. It's no fun when you have the runs or when you're backed up.
They make fiber pills and even the powder fiber that is tasteless and you can mix into any beverage.
If they prescribed miralax, it is truly tasteless and you should be able to mix it in anything. I slip it in Joey and Elyse's stuff all the time, depending on how constipated they are. I have also seen people make miralax popsicles, miralax jello "shots" (not the kind we had in college, for sure), etc. Make sure you're mixing 1 cap in at least 8 oz of fluid and mix it very well.
