The pics aren't the greatest (I am really going through camera withdrawal), but here's a quick look back at our night.
Here's Rylee praying to the candy gods prior to trick-or-treating: c'mon skittles and sugar candy, no chocolate, no whammies, big bucks.
(Sorry those last two are from "Press Your Luck" - not that I would have minded the big bucks).
The Witches Two: Rylee and Rio :)
After the photo session, we hit the pavement in search of "candy, candy, candy, candy" (read with your best Garfield impression). Not sure if it was the weather or the recession, but there weren't nearly as many houses giving out candy as compared to last year (like only 1 in every 8 houses or so). It was kind of depressing, but luckily Rylee didn't notice. She had a blast stopping at the few houses that were lit up, especially those that were spookified with lights and ghosts. Our neighbors had a spooky scarecrow with a mask that kind of creeped her out, but she managed to go up there and laugh about it when the lady showed her it was just stuffed. All in all, it was a good night.
And in the end, Rylee got over a half a pumpkin full of "her" candy. It looks like she was pretty happy with the haul.

Yeah, I was suprised how few people answered their door, or who answered the door, but had no candy! I guess that's where the "trick" is supposed to be employed! :)
Glad Rylee had a good night!
My word verification is "narnia"! Ha!
