Rylee wanted to go horseback riding for her birthday so the four of us, plus Emily, went on a trail ride with a guide.
Sept in FL is HOT, but luckily we rode in a shaded, wooded area.
It was a bit jungle-y at times!
Jace's horse went rogue and went off trail at one point,
but he did a great job getting back on course!
Rylee loved every minute of it. She's a horse girl at heart.
All summer she lives in her cowgirl boots.
I never mentioned it, but during the summer,
literally every time she wore her boots someone would ask her
if she knew what the price of hay was! :)
Emily was a little hesitant at first,
but she really enjoyed it too.
Even Jon had a good time!
After the ride, they drop you all the photos and
even give you a homemade horse cake.
We were hot after the ride so we all swam in the pool,
then opened presents from Emily...
...and had cake!
